London’s black cabs have finally released the iphone app every Londoner has been waiting for. The LDNtaxi app searches for black cabs in a customer’s vicinity and lets drivers know a customer is waiting.
Once the fare is accepted, a picture of the driver is forwarded to the customer and vice versa, helping to avoid mistakes on pick-ups.
Most importantly, for anyone who has ever stood on the street waiting for a cab, you can track the driver’s progress as they make their way to you. The LDNtaxi app is currently free to use.
