18 May-29 August. Tracey Emin, one of Britain's celebrity contemporary artists, draws from her own life experiences as source material for her show at the Hayward Gallery which covers every aspect of her career to date.
Love is What You Want features painting, drawing, photography, textiles, video and sculpture as well as seldom-exhibited early works, recent large-scale installations and outdoor sculptures created especially for the Hayward.
Known for creating art based on the most intimate details of her personal life, Emin's "confessional" work is often confrontational, shocking and sexually provocative but also resonates with aspects of feminism and responds to general issues of identity. Please note that the show contains works of an explicit nature, and under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.
